Two women at a restaurant table in Gunwharf Quays share a joke over a drink

Gunwharf Quays

Home to over 90 premium retail outlet stores offering up to 60% off RRP, Gunwharf Quays is a must-visit for all those who love to shop.

It’s not all about the shops, though – you’ll also find a wide choice of places to eat and drink as well as attractions to keep all the family entertained.

Gunwharf Quays shops

Found on the water’s edge at Portsmouth Harbour, Gunwharf Quays has some of the biggest names in fashion, beauty and homeware, including SuperDry, Boss, The Cosmetics Company Store and ProCook.

Clothing shops range from high end through to sporty, with outlets from major brands including Nike, Adidas and Under Armour.

If you’re after a new pair of shoes, visit Vans or Clarks and if it’s the season for gift-giving, pick up some beauty products from L’Occitane, or some sweet treats from Lindt or Haribo.

Restaurants and bars

On top of this huge array of shops, there’s also a fantastic choice of food covering almost every cuisine you can think of.

For light bites or a lunchtime refuel, there’s Burger King, Patisserie Valerie, Pret and the Cornish Bakery.

At dinnertime, take your pick from a wealth of options: there’s Asian cuisine at Banana Tree or Wagamamas; Italian at Bella Italia, Carluccio’s, Zizzi or Pizza Express; Indian at the Tap & Tandoor; plus loads more.

And if you’re just looking for a coffee, there’s Port Coffee, Caffe Nero and Costa Coffee

Catching up with friends over a drink? Head to The Old Customs House for a traditional pub feel or try out Slug & Lettuce or The Liquorist.

Things to do

The fun doesn’t just stop at food and shops, though.

Catch the latest film releases at Vue Cinema, a 14-screen multiplex with luxury recliner seating.

If you need to scratch your competitive itch, take the family on in a game of ten pin bowling at Hollywood Bowl.

For something a little different, hop onto a tiny boat at Gunwharf Quay’s MiniPort, where you’ll even find a miniature version of one of our Wightlink ferries.

And we can’t forget to mention one of Portsmouth’s most recognisable landmarks, the Spinnaker Tower.

Parking and getting there

There’s an on-site, 1,500-space underground car park which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Pop PO1 3TZ into your sat nav to take you straight there.

Nearby, you’ll also find our Gunwharf port car park which is only a two minute walk to the shopping centre.

If you’re coming from the Isle of Wight on foot, use either our Ryde Pier Head – Portsmouth Harbour or Fishbourne – Portsmouth route and you’ll be only a moment’s walk away from the site.

Opening times

Opening hours will vary across the year but Gunwharf Quays is typically open between 10:00 and 20:00 on weekdays, 09:00 and 20:00 on Saturdays and 10:00 and 18:00 on Sundays.
